Edited 7 months agoThis place is absolutely amazing!! Owners Gary and Maria are such kind people. Hubby and I have gone on our own and also with our 2 young daughters and it has been a positive experience every time! The most recent was this past Saturday, hubby and I were celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary and were treated like family. Also, hubby and I are both born and raised in Western New York near Buffalo and the chicken wings here are the best we've been able to find since moving to Florida!!! We love this place❤️

9 months agoWow, not what I was expecting on the food at all. Had a bahn MI and took it home. This is wild, it's incredible like 10/10 how the hell did I get this in Polk county. Amazing and delicious. I took a terrible picture but good lord this was good.

9 months agoHidden gem in Davenport off the beaten path. Bartenders are amazing and it has my favorite beer on tap that is so hard to find (Kilkenny) karaoke on Wednesday and Saturday nights. Great spot for locals and hopefully they will have the NFL package on Sundays because it will be a perfect place to be every Thursday, Sunday and Monday if it does. Food is good as well but the vibes are perfect.

Edited 3 months agoFirst time trying this place and really went off the good google reviews. The atmosphere and bar is great. The beer was great. The food is average but the prices seem high to me. I had a mushroom burger… and it didn’t come with a side… for $17. The Mac and cheese was Kraft (I’m a mom)with some extra cheese on it … for $3.29. Our bill for a burger, fish and chips, kraft Mac and cheese and 4 beers was $75. That just seems expensive to me!

11 months agoGreat place for food or to gather with friends. Has pool tables and darts. Full bar and lots on tap.I had the Bombay Burger, very enjoyable. Chicken tacos looked delicious as well the chicken wings. Limited menu until the grand opening. Will be back !

2 months agoTaps and Corks in Davenport is an absolute gem. The atmosphere is welcoming and laid-back, making it the perfect spot to relax with friends after a long day. Their selection of craft beers, wines, and drinks is impressive, and there’s always something new to try whether you’re a casual drinker or a true craft enthusiast. What really sets this place apart is the staff. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they serve. They’re always happy to make recommendations and help you find something you’ll love. The vibe is great, the drinks are top-notch, and it’s clear the owners take pride in creating a community feel. If you’re anywhere near Davenport and enjoy good drinks and a great atmosphere, Taps and Corks is definitely worth the visit. I’ll absolutely be back!

Edited 6 months agoWas on my way home to do some shopping for my son. Taking him out to go coat shopping. Along the way, I knew I had a few minutes to spare, and stumbled upon taps and corks. I stopped inside sat at the bar, quietly snuck in on Travis while he was attending two guests that had walked in previous to myself. He greeted me with a warm. Wow! You snuck in on me, I proceeded to order a Maker's Mark old fashion with extra bitters. He asked if orange bitters was okay and being my favorite for a traditional old fashioned. I obliged. Travis made small talk throughout the visit, proceeding to encourage my exploration of the venue, and to my surprise, I was realizing how expansive it actually is. There's a perfect area on the back overlooking a beautiful small body of water, lounge chairs and a cozy atmosphere providing plenty of games such as beer pong, pool tables, dart boards, etc. And the bar is huge. Plenty of places to feel nice and comfortable in this place. Thank you so much Travis for making me feel so welcome. Thank you for your wonderful attention to detail and service standard. I will be coming back as a local watering hole guest! See you soon!

9 months agoTaps & Corks in Davenport truly exceeded my expectations. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care & the flatbreads were crisp and satisfying, the sandwiches were perfectly cooked, and even the appetizers had that extra touch that sets a place apart. Their drink menu is well thought out, with a solid mix of rotating craft beers, unique wines, and cocktails that feel creative and balanced. I had a spicy margarita that was one of the best I’ve had in the area. The space itself has a relaxed but energetic vibe, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout. I also love that they host weekly events like karaoke and trivia, which adds even more reason to come back and enjoy the space with a group. Whether you’re stopping by for food, drinks, or just looking for a spot with a fun, social atmosphere, this place delivers.
